I sure wish I had grown those flowers, but the picture was taken in the park. Canna are like dahlias in that after the first frost has nipped the foliage it is time to dig up the tubers, shake off the earth and put them in a warm dry place to dry for few days. Then you store them in the basement until it is time to plant them in the spring. You can leave them in the garage until it gets close to freezing in there before you bring them inside.

I love them all. Would you mind Fargo if we used one of your pictures on the Index page after we remove the barn picture. I will have to ask Glad to make the change. Although I could do a little fiddling myself.

Be my guest if there are some that you like. Once I post them, they are there for people to enjoy. That is for pictures from my garden. How about the ones I took in the Park and the Botanical Garden. I am under the impression that as long as I give credit, it is ok to show the picture.
Does using it as a model to paint change anything? You are an artist so you should know how these things work, better than I do. I guess you can go and paint a picture in the park.

I saw the bowl of fruits you posted. Did you delete it from your image host or computer. The only reason why a red X would appear is if you deleted or moved it from the link you posted. The computer sensed it is no longer there.

Thank you for deleting my two red x's. I guess in my effort to delete them I must have deleted the Still life (bowl and fruit)by mistake, so will try to put it back again as nothing has changed in my portfolio.
As for Still life #2, I will leave it alone as there must be something the matter with the link as it just wont post.
