    Irises of my eyes. :)

Today I started to upload all the shots I took of my garden this year from my computer to a new site. It is fabulous and faster than that other popular site.

That is so pretty IG. Do you ever enter any of your flowers
in a flower show. I think you could take 1st prize!

    Hi everyone

Thank you Oceanna. I have never entered any competition. I am just starting out. Got the portion of the field where I want to put my perennials marked out today. The farmer harvested the corn from that field on the weekend.

It felt quite mild so I spent a couple of hours this morning and all afternoon outside. Got my wegelias, forsythias and lilacs moved. Hope I didn't inadvertently kill them.

It is a wet day here and I wonder, are the plants loving it? Not sure as most of them are leafless and I imagine gone dormant.

Irises are still green but posting blooms of Spring gone by. Very Happy

    Awwww...poor Ig...pining for her garden!

So sorry Islandgrl, but you need a rest as much as your beautiful garden does!
As for me...I'm only too happy to have a break from tending even to my tiny balcony garden....much as I love to see the greenery and blossoms. After September....I'm ready to let it all go for another season.

For now.....St. Nick will come and go...and then St. Valentine...and then St. Patrick.......and then...hmmmm.....the Easter Bunny.....(oops...somewhere between there....the Groundhog)......and then.......you can start playing in the dirt again! lol

Enjoy your Christmas/Holiday Season everyone! snowman

    Luv....and hugs

IG's flowers are beauts, I too feel kinda sad when winter comes around. I brought two of the last roses in two days ago, they are now opening up and I also have a hibiscus in bloom. Let me tell you about that darn hibiscus:

It is what can only be called a scraggler, two long stems with all the green leaves at the top and just bare nothing at the bottom. The funniest looking thing you ever saw. But it blooms and blooms and blooms, I talk to it and threaten to pitch it out and it puts forth another bloom.

Who says you can't talk to your plants Laughing .....lee
