In my previous post about predestination
I should have used the word reincarnation
Because that's what it requires to express my desires.
For a contented life in that new situation.

But I'm often befuddled in mind,
Need a good swift kick in the behind,
To get my thoughts back on line

The words flow out very well

Near my house a river runs by,
Sometimes I walk there
Under a clear blue sky.
Sit on a rock while water rushes past
Over stones, around bends it goes so fast.
A warm breeze on a sunny day
It's peaceful and serene
At my river hide-away.

This is not the river near my house. This one runs through
a park about four miles from where we live and they have different names.

My neighbours are moving out today, Sad

Who will come to take their place?
My fingers crossed, I wish for quiet
Ones who'll not awake the night,
But who's to say, what it will be?
Guess I'll have to wait and see.

Wish me luck, in this transition
Knock on wood for superstition
That those who will abide next door
Won't whoop and holler...like once before
That drove me bonkers...near insane :pale:

Leave their apartment..worse for wear
Soon painters, plumbers, tools adanglin'
Will be hammering and bangin'
Rents will rise due to expenses
Of the ever changing tenancy.
I've been here for seven years
Causing no expense or tears
To the owner or my neighbor
Wish one like me moved in next door? :bounce:

Thought I might be able to post a rhyme.
But then I got up for suppertime
And now I find I have lost my muse
So find it impossible to try and amuse.
And now I find to my great sorrow,
That it will have to wait till tomorrow
But who's to know what the night will bring.
Perhaps never again, will I hear the alarm ring
And if that is so, I'd like you to know,
That I thank you all for being a friend.
And if I offended, I'd like to amend.
And not procrastinate until its too late
Sooner or late we will meet out fate
All of us have met some rocks on the road.
Some a lot more than others if the truth be told,.
But I will leave with nothing to hide
And all-in-all, its been a good ride.

Think that it's 'bout bl***y time
Haven't been here for a while
Seriousness is not my style
Maybe sometime....writing poetry...
Else..I play a game..of "sultry"..
Years have past beyond the glimmer..
Bet ya'd be "sp'rised" about my shimmer
Lookin' good fer all my years
Head to head...I'll meet my peers
Not much sagging... maybe arms
Flap a bit to my alarm!!
Chin could use a bit of liftin'
Costs too much.. so I'm fergitten!

Skinny Minny..so I've been
Thank you Lord...it's one less sin!

I come to you this snowy day
To bring you rhyming words to say
Winter won't stay around to long
And spring will come with a bird's song
The smell of flowers oh so sweet
Gives us all a golden treat
Now this is what we need to do
Wish for spring when all is new
