All beautiful. Is the hibiscus a houseplant? I have some double ones which bloomed profusely outside. Didn't put them out this year because I didn't want them to get bugs. They need a lot of light to bloom.

Yes the hibiscus is a house plant because it is a plant from the tropics. It does well outside in a sheltered sunny spot in the summer where it gets at leat 4 hrs of sunshine. Once the temperatures start dropping in the Fall, it is very unhappy when the temperature goes below 55 F. But mine are a problem plant to grow inside because they attract white fly insects. Haven't really found a way to control them, besides putting up yellow sticky strips which trap them.
