I've been watching bits and pieces...until they whittle it down to the nitty-gritty, and then I'll watch it with much interest!

Shania/Fergie/The Judds....etc. on the OWN network.......
Same old..same old!!...Lots of sob stories....ne'er-do-wells...who came from nowhere to become something, only to rise and fall and start again....with more sob-stories!
I confess...I love them all....but the moaning is tiresome!

Expedition Impossible......
It was doled out to be different from Amazing Race...but there are too many similarities here to catch my interest!

The Voice - Now this is a good thing to watch! Unfortunately...I haven't kept up to date with it, because I haven't had the time to...but this is a GOOD show!

Well for me...loving watching Curling/Figure Skating/the NHL...and now even more....because the Jets are back in Manitoba!!/ and now the soon to begin CFL Season.....
I will have to pick and choose between "Reality" programming and "Sports"! Yoy! when will I have time for my loved ones and to vacuum....launder....clean...socialize....shop....etc...etc....and then...I have to find some time for 'putering!

Lordie!!! I need two of me in my Senior years!

Willows, I have caught some of America's Got Talent, but like you, I'm waiting until they get down to good talent.

The program about the Judd's on OWN almost made me sick!
Naomi and Wynonna both have therapists and boy do they need them!
Years ago we saw them in concert in Halifax and just loved their singing and admired them very much.
Now I cannot stand them, they seem so fake and weird.

For sometime I thought Ashley was the most stable but now she has a book out about her terrible childhood. According to her she was neglected and abused. It seems if someone wants to make money on a book they must claim to be abused.

I never buy books written by celebs.
Why spend money when they tell it all on TV and everyone is tired of hearing it.

I do still like Shania but I hope she soon stops talking and starts singing again.
Fergie I can do without.

I really want to see what Fergie has to say sob or no sob. I already saw some of Shania's story and this nonsense about her losing her singing voice because of heartache. After all that she says has happened to her, she should get up there and show them she still has what it takes.

I'm not really interested in anything mentioned except perhaps Expedition Impossible, probably because I enjoy The Amazing Race as well.

The Judd's.....disfunctional story was nauseating....yet I still love Wynona's songs and her voice! This "reality" thing did more harm thn good for them.....(Wynona is so much better without Naomi!!)

As it will for Shania and Fergie.
I can't watch anymore of Shania and her hard-done-by stories and how she just can't sing....meanwhile....signing a contract in Vagas

....and now Fergie....!! It's too much!

Being a part of OWN ...Oprah's network...I really thought that their stories and presentations would have shown more "class".....but it's just a bunch of schmulch!


dilannie....I watched Expedition Impossibles's first presentation. It was said to be so different from Amazing Race, but except for some menial things....to me it felt the same. I've grown tired of Amazing Race. I'll give this new show a chance...but hmmm....sure does look like a "Bobsy-Twin" to me!! LOL

Willows.... I agree with you re some of the OWN "talk" shows as I'm not particularly interested in hearing, yet again, about all about the ongoing (neverending?) problems of some of these celebs!

I wonder if Oprah has had second thoughts about those programs with the celebrities? I think they should be thankful for their talent, success and all the fortune they have accumulated!

I had great expectations of Oprah's OWN network and I hope there will be more interesting and uplifting programs in the fall.
We can always hope.
