COLORS

A promise was given from God on high
The rainbow was given from rain in the sky
There's a mixture of hues in God's promise of love
A promise to Noah that followed a dove
Colors in rainbows and in people too
Are all included in covenant new
The children of Noah were of one accord
A time when everyone followed the LORD
As we look inside our hearts today
A mixture of colors while we all pray
The beauty within the rainbow's hue
Is found in people like me and like you

I would love to give lessons. Perhaps when we get the Seniors Boomer Rumours running smoothly those who want can go to the Shouters Writer Forum and we can really write poems. We will discuss it later.

Poetry lessons would be most informative, but I would likely still, babble away in my nonsense way, sometimes. There are times, when I feel sensitive about a topic, that I do write seriously and deeply from my heart, but I have no rhyme nor reason as to the way that it all pours out.

well, let me think , oh dear
I just post whatever comes to mind
sometimes its good and sometimes I find
something I wish I had never emoted
but then i'm devoted
to all the poetry threads,my favorite
and I tend to give my all,every lil ole bit
for making a poetry thread for every one
once you try it,it's really fun
so give it a try
and soon you will see why
it's contagious,
even outragious
but guaranteed exciting.

She is always here on time
Telling us we're doing fine
But I know in this heart of mine
I don't know how to rhyme. LOL
I am just here to have some fun.

In a Hear Pacer tizzy,
Getting it in was risky
But it made me more frisky
And now I can stand
And not feel dizzy.
(Think I'll get one for my wife)!

Don't know where Willow was,
But I hope it was not because,
Some illness made her absence conspicuous
But something a little more gratuitous

A little piece of my time
Or you'll think I shall recall
How to rhyme one line at all
I do love to rhyme with you
And sometimes there's work to do
We should take a little look
Rhyme to make a Rumours book

If I could have one thing today to make my spirits rise,
It would be to buy a Chopper, to lift me to the skies.
This might surprise my wife, and get from her some smiling
Cause after such a long, long with time with me, she knows when I am lying,
Hence obviously she also knows quite well that I,
Have a strong reluctance to flying.
