    PAPER 2 to 10 weeks

    PLASTIC Bag 10 to 500 years

    TIN CAN 50 to 100 years

    DISPOSABLE DIAPER 75 to 400 years

    STYROFOAM Never

    Wow....I remember when those disposable diapers were invented. I had just had my first child and the hospital sent a few home. I could not afford them except when we would go visit the grand parents. Now hardly any new mother uses the cloth diapers. I know that the cloth diapers make great dish towels later believe it or not. Of course you want to bleach them out first.

    I have often wondered why Mothers just ignore the plusses in using cloth nappies. Not being a mother I suppose I shouldn't criticise, but it does seem frightfully wasteful.
