    Britain isn't the only country to admit to the failure of multicult., last fall the German leader made a similar statement about Multiculturalism as Denmark, Sweden and Holland are also questioning the policy and practice of multiculturalism, so there seems to be much evidence that more countries are beginning to see the downside.

    On the bright side, I don't think Russia, China and Japan are about to embrace it any time soon.
    I don't think anyone in Canada has the guts to speak up.

    David Cameron said Britain had encouraged different cultures to live separate lives
    At a security conference in Munich, he argued the UK needed a stronger national identity to prevent people turning to all kinds of extremism.

    He also signalled a tougher stance on groups promoting Islamist extremism.
    The speech angered some Muslim groups, while others queried its timing amid an English Defence League rally in the UK.
    As Mr Cameron outlined his vision, he suggested there would be greater scrutiny of some Muslim groups which get public money but do little to tackle extremism.
    Ministers should refuse to share platforms or engage with such groups, which should be denied access to public funds and barred from spreading their message in universities and prisons, he argued.
    "Frankly, we need a lot less of the passive tolerance of recent years and much more active, muscular liberalism," the prime minister said.

    Here is a letter I sent to the Toronto Star on the subject Haven't publised it. With its Left-lib agenda, it probably wont.

    I Mm not aware if the UK’s multiculturalism policy that PM David Cameron condemns in saying “It has encouraged segregated communities where Islamic extremism can thrive” is embedded in their law but it certainly is in our law. The official designation by our government as a multicultural society has been threatening our safety and security in the same manner that he decries in his country. But our official mandate to allow undocumented immigrants to stay in this country while they attempt to prove their identity and bona fides has certainly made it easier for immigrants with ulterior motives to get into, and live in this country.

    Lets hope that the “Perimeter Security” accord signed by PM Harper and US President Obama can close the gap that has heretofore existed in our attempt to do this by ourselves.
