This was something that I never thought I would be interested in but I got hooked and can't wait for the next season to start.
I never realized just how hard these guys and gals work and the danger they face. It is a reality series about the truckers that make the runs from Fairbanks Alaska up to Prudhoe Bay to keep things running.
The work involved in taking care of the big rigs, the near misses and sometimes accidents and stupidity causing accidents made for some good tv for a change. Interesting too to see how the monitoring and reports are made up to keep these people on their toes and in a job. There is one trucker that is definitely on shaky ground.
Several tense moments, sad moments, good times and companionship. Of course I was most interested in Lisa, a rookie and in the last episode she made enough money to buy her horse back, I almost cried (ok, I did cry)
Another series starts next month.
