Movies that are sad often make me cry. Are you willing to reveal which one(s) make you over and over again? What was the most recent movie that made you cry?

Re: Moved To Tears
I would tell you if I could, but I can't remember.
I know I have from time to time but can't remember the name
of any of them that made me shed a few tears.
I wonder if I should be worried about my fading memory?

Re: Moved To Tears
I don't go to theatres, but I do watch many movies on my television.
No movie has ever made me cry....the way that the movie from the 50's...I think....called
"I Want To Live" with Susan Hayward.
I walked out of the theatre with uncontrollable tears!

Re: Moved To Tears
I love those old movies too, even the ones that make me cry. Who can ever forget Imitation of Life, or I'll Cry Tomorrow or Jezebel.
A recent rerun of Designing Women had me in tears. It was the one where Suzanne was taking care of that little girl that was to be adopted by a couple and when the time came to hand her over she did not want to give her up.
When that little girl left singing "Oh Susanna Don't You Cry For Me" I have to admit that I lost it.

Re: Moved To Tears
Lee, I'd forgotten about Imitation of Life and I'll Cry Tomorow.
Yup....out came the tissues there too....and it was mostly the old movies that made me cry. My late hubby used to drive me crazy at those most tender and sentimental moments!! He'd look at me and ask..."Are you crying?" I could have schmucked him a dozen or more times for doing that and spoiling my cry!!

Re: Moved To Tears
Sheesh Willows, guys will do anything rather than admit that something can make them cry.
My guy will generally find that a sad part is the time to go for a beer or bathroom break. And if you hear sniffles coming from the direction of the john then he pretends to be blowing his nose and comes out wondering if he is coming down with a cold.
Why can't guys just enjoy a good cry like we do?
