The Real Scotch Bonnet

As promised these are the plants that were over-wintered last year and potted for this Winter again. They looked pathetic in the Spring because of my move last December. But we put them in the veggie garden gave them some TLC and a heathy dose of epsom salts (one tablespoon to a gallon of water). They were florished within a month, so here they are potted up and coming inside again. The peppers I will used for my hot sauce.

Notice the shape, flatish with a point on the bottom. Turn the point up and it really reminds me of a Scot's bonnet. Hence the name I guess.

Got my scotch bonnet seeds sprouted. Here are the first 5 seedlings about a week and a half old. I will keep two for inside and the rest will go in the garden.

I started them in peat pellets and transplanted to Shultz potting soil Plus. Very happy no gnats appearing yet. Sign of good soil?

Will be starting other seeds next week.
