Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under
trees on a summer's day, listening to the murmur of the water,
or watching the clouds float across the sky is by no means
    a waste of time.

    Hi oceanna

I have done those two things at one time and enjoyed it much. how about lying on a bed of grass and taking a nap, counting the birds or listening to them sing.

This morning I actually went out into our back garden barefoot, Its been so long I forgot what that felt like, it felt like bliss, the freshly cut grass underneath bare feet.

Sadly I find that we forget to stop and look up at the stars and see the beauty there, or take the time to just sit or lay and watch the clouds go by and look for shapes in them.

    Even adults should have fun.

I love all of your comments and I've enjoyed all of them at one time or another, but you've
refreshed my memory....and yes...we should always continue to take the time to enjoy what's around us. It connects us spiritually with our world, doesn't it?

    Oceanna.....here ya go!....inspiration for a poem! :)
