    http://www.durgan.org/URL/?FKJOY 4 December 2011 Pomegranate Processing.

Three large pomegranates were purchased and the liquid removed by putting the seeds through a Champion juicer. (Pomegranates are not grown in Canada to the best of my knowledge.) The seeds are separated from the substrate as much as is convenient. The liquid is quite thick and is eaten with a spoon. It makes a fine desert. Water could be added to thin to make a drinkable juice.

Five large pomegranates were processed into juice. The cost is three for $5.00. All the pomegranates in the stores are very large and perfect condition from the USA.

If the seeds are not removed completely from the substrate the juice has a bitter taste. The substrate is bitter in taste. Removing the seeds takes a bit of effort and is done by cutting and pulling apart, and removing the seeds with the fingers. This is best done in a deep pot to prevent splashing of the juice.

Seeds are put through the Champion juicer to separate the juice out. The juice makes a very pleasant drink. It is stored in the refrigerator and will be used within the next few days. There is very little residue and is basically seed casings and are very hard, clearly not digestible. There is a about 300 ml of juice from each pomegranate.

I really like pomegranate juice but never liked eating all
    the seeds.
Durgan, Processing all the foods that you do is a great hobby
and so good for your health. More people should get the processing
equipment you have and start having good food and juice on their
    pantry shelves.
    Bravo!

Well, I got a few converts. Certainly the bonds between commercial food processing and us mortals has to be broken. I am almost convinced that the commercial food industry is destroying our health.
