    Islandgrl's posting the link of "Most Beautiful Place In America" inspired me to post this thread.


    What do you think is the most beautiful place in Canada? Is it in your locale or is it a Canadian place that you have travelled to?

    Canada is a large and diverse country with many beautiful scenic
    places to visit.
    One majestic area in this province is the Cabot Trail.


    The Cabot Trail loops around the northern tip of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, 185 miles or 298 km long. The trail passes through many charming communities, each with breathtaking scenery and unforgettable hospitality. The Cape Breton Highlands National Park lies along the Cabot Trail, providing world class hiking. Whilst on the trail take the time to go whale watching, visit the museums and galleries and sample some of the finest sea food dinning in the world.

    I haven't done a lot of travelling across this beautiful country of ours but I would very much like to. All the places I have seen are beautiful except where there is evidence of human presence. Some people just don't take pride in their surroundings. I would love to visit the East coast in my lifetime. My sister is in Nova Scotia for six weeks and she is staying with her son and family. She says it reminds her of the tropics and she loves it. I may never see her again. Very Happy

    Islandgrl, I hope your sister enjoys visiting NS.

    Here's another spot I like to visit, it's a great place to
    wander around, see all the flowers, plants, vegetables and trees and have lunch in the cafe,
    if you can find it amongst all the lovely vegetation.
    A great place to take pictures and learn of the history of the area.

    And the population of NS and all of the Maritime provinces including Newfoundland are the most friendly, genuine . salt of the earth people in the World hugs.gif

    Many years ago we got a chance to take a quick tour out west. One of the most memorable stops was the Lake Louise area... really stunning IMO.
