    I would love the thought of taking a cruise and being spoiled and pampered for a whole week! However, I'm still concerned about the detrimental impact that these huge cruise ships have been on the environment despite the fact that some appear to be cleaning up their act. Read this:

    They dump everything in the ocean. Nasty, irresponsible bunch of people. I would not spend my money to go on their ships.

    I'm surprised, I thought cruise ships these days emptied their waste into sewage facilities in Port, not dump it into the ocean after treating it. If they are doing it then no, I wouldn't take a cruise either, but I'd confirm it first, not sure how.

    You could take a nice holiday at an all inclusive resort. it's pampering etc. As far as the human waste goes, those same people would be contributing waste and garbage somewhere else, so I don't see the issue with that per se.
