    I try and take advantage of "Senior Day" savings whenever I can. Recently I shopped at Shoppers Drug Mart and received a 20% Seniors Day discount on most items including everything in their Food dept. Although the discount does not usually apply to any "Sale" items it does apply to some books that already are discounted 25-40% off the list price - great for gift buying! In addition, if you spend more than $50. you will also receive a bonus such as a $10. Shoppers Gift card etc. and.... you continue to accumulate SDM points via their Optimum card. My local Shoppers has THE best price here on certain food basics such as milk & butter so their Gift card can prove to be very useful. ThmbUp.gif

    Zellers and Lawtons have senior days here in this area.
    I take advantage when there is something I need. Sale items
    at Lawtons are not eligible for the discount, not sure about Zellers.
