Wuzfuz, I have that song of Steve Earle's on a CD. Saw him in concert
in Halifax after he recorded his first album, Guitar Town. That was before
drugs had a strong hold on him and it was one of the best concerts we ever saw.
He had so much talent it was sad that he lost years of recording due to drugs.
He has been in recovery now for some years and is doing fine and still touring.
I get an update occasionally from his fan club.

And so that was Eva Cassidy. She takes my breath away with her voice....and the song.....Song Bird...leaves nothing but stillness when her song is done.

Must be some rebel in me.
Remember seeing him in a bar in Toronto way back in the 60's before he hit the BIG TIME
He was sitting in a room downstairs between sets with a couple of girls. Manager of the bar intoduced me. One of girls may have been the 14 yr old girl he married
