    Last night we saw Country Strong. It was the last night for it at a theatre near where we live.
    Some good singing and a story about the price of fame in the music business.
    It was mainly filmed in Nashville and we enjoyed it, although it was sad near the end.

    Hey Oceanna! Didn't Gwyneth Paltrow sing " Country Strong" in the movie? I saw clips of her singing that country song and I thought that she was amazing!! I love her acting...so if the movie was a "flub"..I'll have to blame it on her co-stars or someone-else!! LOL!

    Yes Willows, Gwyneth Paltrow did a great job of singing Country Strong in the movie, and her acting was superb.

    There was a young actor, unknown to me, who played a rising country star and he had a great singing voice. His name was Garrett Hedlund. Tim McGraw is quite good as an actor also, he did not sing in this one.

    It might not have been a big money making movie but there was quite a good crowd in the theatre the night we went.
    I like movies with a good story and without violence.
