Cats, are they a hazard to plants? Empty Cats, are they a hazard to plants?

I do not any animals at the moment because I am away quite a bit and very few neighbours. There are cat prints in the snow almost every morning, are they feral or are they travelling some distance to get here?

There is one that is urinating on my evergreen shrubs and I have seen it spraying my currant bushes. What else it is spraying I wonder. My HaveAHart trap and ACO will be employed soon.

We don't have any pets but our neighbours across the road have a cat and a small dog.
We occasionally see their cat over here early in morning. So far it has not disturbed anything as far as I know.

The cats making tracks around your house could be feral. There are folks who will put their pets out on the side of a road if they are tired of them and then the animals have to fend for themselves.
    Sad but it happens.

That is exactly what happened this past summer. A baby kitten was dumped out in front of my house. It got in under my son's car and he brought her inside. Well the rest is history. I would not take anything for our muffin. She is so sweet. She hates getting a bath but she gets one a couple times a month. I use baby shampoo on her. I talk to her when I am lonely and she purrs at me. Keeps me company when sons are not home.
