    I found that article very interesting Willows.
    I had never heard of the Catatumbo lightning.
    The world seems to be getting smaller but there is
    still so much that mystifies us.

    What a strange phenomenon. I don't think most people would mind an occasional thunderstorm but to be in an area with "persistent" thunderstorms with up to 20,000 lightening flashes per night can't be easy for any living creature I would think.
