The strike may not have been long enough for us to experience any hardships but I missed getting those bills in my mailbox. How did it affect you?

I did not miss mail delivery at all. Now that they are coming back I will have the wrong mail delivered to my box again. I deliver mail to the next street over about once a month and guess what my pay is.

I missed not getting the mail.
Some of our monthly bills come by mail as does our local weekly newspaper.
A couple of payments are automatically taken from our chequing account but some I like to pay myself when it's convenient,
and I don't like a lot of company employees having access to our chequing account.
That's just me, I'm set in my ways.

We didn't get any mail on Monday but today
our mail was delivered bright and early.
We live in a rural area and have a mailbox at the
end of the driveway so it's very convenient to walk
to the box and we get exercise too.

Our mail started again today as well. Hubby spoke briefly with the mail carrier who said he was happy to be back at work and earning a paycheque once more.

I've had some "old flyers"...but not much of anything else. My biggest concern is my Visa bill which I pay off each month and that is the only payment that I make that isn't pre-authorized. I don't do banking on-line. So I'm hoping that I receive it soon because my Computer Security payment is due on it!!
Also...I have a little parcel that I've been wanting to mail...and I'll wait with it until the congestion of the postal system eases.
