    (This tip is from The Farmer's Almanac)

    To grow Clematis successfully think "Warm head, cold feet."

    Pick a SUNNY SPOT and SHELTER ROOTS with
    a piece of flagstone or decorative stepping stone over the soil covering roots.

    I have a few clematis that I transplanted in the Fall. They are all doing well. Well, the roots ont them is something else.

    I had a couple of beautiful ones at the other place, brought a piece with me but have no idea which one it is or if it took. Will have to wait for them all to bloom. Picture to post when they do. Very Happy If it didn't survive I now have cuttings I got from a friend that I am rooting. Nelly Moser is the name of it. I have them all mulched.
