    I once went into a very dark cave in the tropics. The entrance was rather large but there were tunnels I had to crawl through. Very dark, very scary. Constantly felt I was going to be buried there. I also went into one that went down. There were stairs which led to pools of water. It was a tourist attraction. Have you ever been in one and how did you feel?

    Great pictures and very interesting.

    While on a trip down south a few years ago
    we visited the Luray Caverns in the
    Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
    It was amazing and I thought it was the best part of our whole trip.


    (This U.S. Registered Natural Landmark is the Shenandoah Valley's most interesting and entertaining cave. In addition to monumental columns in rooms more than 140 feet high, you'll see beautiful cascades of natural colors on the interior walls.)
