    Has anyone tried this, do you need a microphone or what, does it have to be with someone else ona computer, or just their phone :)- if this works I may cancel my long distance plan,

    I thought about Majic Jack, still am actually

    I would imagine it will be like MagicJack. You need a mic to use Google. With MagicJack I think you can use a regular phone. However you need a really fast internet connection as both use the internet.

    I found that buying cell phones was cheaper for our family since most cell phones come with free long distance now.

    Thanks, I thought it was like majic jack, and used the phone.

    Americans have much better cell phone plans than we do, ours are pricey and no free LD, it's about 30 cents a min.
