That is beautiful wuzfuz. I love raking leaves, then shredding them for the gardens. It's Black Gold. LOL

    Beautiful Wuzfuz!

You can make it easy for yourself by attaching a leaf attachment to your lawn mower. This will keep the leaves from blowing out from under your mower and will keep them ground up to small pieces to stay on the ground.

As IG stated, leaves are gold for gardens. I wish I had more leaves. I lost 4 trees a few years ago to major damage from an ice storm.

Here's part of our back lawn, not as pretty as wuzfuz's, just shows grass that needs mowing. :)

    Our Backyard Empty My Backyard

Post by wuzfuz Wed Jul 07, 2010 12:19 am

oceanna's beautiful flowers and scenery now make my present backyard look pretty drab

These are before and after pics

Like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, I have the inclination but not the time to get it back to its earlier
    incarnation

All the flowers around the gazebo in the picture are beautiful, and it is still
very peaceful and lovely with the greenery.
It looks like the perfect cool and shady spot to sit and relax.

Thanks for posting your pictures Wuzfuz.

My wife wants one of those Gazebo's so bad. One of these days I will have to learn how to build one for her.

All the yards look lovely. all I have is country grass out here.

Windwalker would you like the plans to my son's master piece? Photo was taken during one of our snows last winter.

Glad E Olah, your son's gazebo is great!....and Wuzfuz....I just love your gazebo as well....both with the beautiful flowers and with the greenery of the hostas. I can just picture having afternoon tea and dainty cucumber sandwiches in there!

In my dreams glad. All I did was find the plans in a library book and show them to my great friend and next door neighbour who is a Jack of all Trades including being an excellent carpenter and renovator.

Told me what material was needed and went to work. I was just a gopher and drove a few nails.

You might have noticed a garden swing in my backyard . He built that also.

Everyone should be so lucky to have such a neighbour
